Presented by Dr. Shauna Shapiro
February 26: 7–8:30 PM GMT | 2:00–3:30 PM ET | 11:00–12:30 PM PT
Mindfulness is the foundation of self-compassion, and it is also the heart of how to train the mind. Shauna’s presentation will incorporate her teachings on neuroplasticity and on "what you practice grows stronger". The talk will focus on how parents can "grow" self-compassion in themselves, which is the first step in how to practice with our children.
About Shauna Shapiro:
Dr. Shapiro is a leading expert in mindfulness and self-compassion, celebrated for her ability to blend the science of neuroplasticity with the art of mindful living. Her TEDx talk, "What You Practice Grows Stronger," has reached millions worldwide, and her books and teachings are foundational in the field of mindfulness. Her presence in this course is truly exceptional, offering participants the chance to learn directly from one of the foremost authorities in the field.
Presented by Wendy O’Leary
March 5: 7–8:30 PM GMT | 2:00–3:30 PM ET | 11:00–12:30 PM PT

ourselves, specifically as parents and caregivers. We will explore the
intersection of parenting and self-compassion and learn some practices
to support us when we, or our children, are struggling. We will also
investigate what can get in the way of offering ourselves this kindness
and care, and what are some skillful ways to address those barriers?
