Your team.
Your community.
A programme that fits.

Every organisation works with different people, pressures and priorities. We begin by understanding what your practitioners need to be able to do, then shape the training around that.

That might mean practical tools to use with children, preparation to deliver a parenting programme, or a longer-term pathway that supports staff wellbeing and learning across your service.

Barnardos

Practical learning that becomes part of everyday work

Creative Mindfulness’s work with Barnardos developed from practitioner training into school-based delivery and inclusion in its wider wellbeing work. Training supports staff with approaches they can use with children, alongside their own mindfulness and self-compassion practice.

FAQs

Can you tailor training to our organisation?

Yes. We begin by understanding your team, the children and families you support, and what you want practitioners to be able to do after training. We then shape a pathway around those needs, combining relevant course content, practical resources and support. This might focus on working directly with children, supporting parents, practitioner wellbeing or preparing staff to deliver a structured programme.

Who is the training suitable for?

Our organisational training supports teams working with children, teenagers, parents and families. We have worked with national organisations, parenting support practitioners and local community services. Tell us about your team’s roles and experience, and we can help identify the most appropriate starting point.

How is the training delivered?

Training can combine live online teaching with recorded sessions, self-paced learning and practical resources. Depending on the programme, support may also include group sessions and individual mentoring. We’ll discuss the format with you so that it fits both your team’s working arrangements and what they need to learn.

How much time will our team need?

The time commitment depends on the programme and what you want your team to deliver afterwards. A focused workshop will involve a different commitment from training practitioners to facilitate a full programme. When discussing your needs, we’ll outline the teaching time, any independent learning and the opportunities to practise and apply the approaches.

What support is available afterwards?

Support can include teaching resources, recorded learning, live sessions and mentoring to help practitioners put their learning into practice. The support available will depend on your programme. We’ll explain what is included and how your team can access it when planning the training with you.

Can you work within our budget?

Let us know your budget and what you would like the training to achieve. We can explore what may be possible within it, considering your priorities, the number of participants and the level of support needed. We’ll be clear about what we can offer and what is included before you decide.

What will our staff be able to deliver after training?

This depends on the pathway they complete. Some training focuses on practical mindfulness approaches staff can use in their existing work with children and families. Other pathways prepare practitioners to facilitate a structured programme, such as Mindful Parenting. We’ll clarify the intended learning outcomes, any assessment requirements and what completion enables participants to deliver.
