Mindfulness & Meditation for Pregnancy: A Gentle Online Pilot Programme

Join us for a nurturing 8-week online mindfulness and meditation journey created especially for expectant mothers. This pilot programme is part of Lindsey Crean’s work in developing a new Creative Mindfulness add-on for practitioners who wish to support pregnancy through mindful connection, emotional awareness, and compassionate presence.

This gentle and supportive course is designed to offer a restful, loving space where women can slow down, listen inward, and connect deeply with themselves and their babies. Through guided meditation, reflection, and mindful sharing, participants will be invited to trust in the wisdom of their own bodies and experience the power of mindful presence during this transformative time.

  • Anyone wishing to explore mindfulness and meditation as part of their prenatal journey


No previous experience with mindfulness is needed, just a willingness to be present and cared for in a warm, safe space.

  • Live Online via Zoom
  • Duration: 8 weeks
  • Day/Time: Wednesday evenings, 8:00–9:00 PM (Irish time)
  • Start Date: Wednesday, 2nd July 2025
  • Final Session: Wednesday, 20th August 2025
  • Each session will include a mix of guided meditation, mindfulness practices, gentle discussion, and space for personal reflection

Lindsey's philosophy

My understanding of the philosophy behind Loving Kindness practice is that it reconnects you to your diamond nature and to the diamond nature of all beings around you and it supports and strengthens the qualities of compassion, sympathetic joy and equanimity, qualities important for our mindfulness practice and for the cultivation of self-love and self-care. The practice itself involves using phrases of well-wishing as a focus for your attention and offering these phrases to yourself and to people in your life, extending these phrases to all beings everywhere. There are many benefits to practising Loving Kindness such as an increase in positive emotions, life satisfaction, vagal tone (which is a physiological marker of wellbeing), grey matter in the areas of the brain associated with emotional regulation, social connection, and your ability to enter a relaxing and restorative state. It promotes resilience, slows biological aging, curbs self-criticism, decreases your bias towards others, alleviates emotional tension associated with chronic migraines, and activates and strengthens areas of the brain responsible for empathy and emotional intelligence.
