Mind, Heart and Earth Programme
(6 month In Person and Online)

Starts May 17th

*Only 12 places available*

This six month programme is a blended, in person and online journey offering a shared Community of Practice for meeting the challenges of our times with presence, care and resilience.

We will bring together meditation, mindfulness and the Work That Reconnects,  alongside movement, nature connection and community building, as a way of responding wisely and compassionately to the social and ecological crises we are living within. Rooted in deep sustainability, the programme recognises that inner and outer change are inseparable. By transforming our relationship with mind, heart and body, we gently loosen patterns of separation and cultivate a deeper sense of belonging, discovering a grounded place from which we can respond to the world with clarity, compassion and courage.

How the Programme is Structured

We meet one Sunday a month for a full day retreat by Lough Ree in County Roscommon from 10.30am to 4.30pm. Participation in these day retreats is a required part of the programme. Between gatherings, the programme continues online through guided practices, reflections and ongoing support, allowing the learning and inquiry to deepen in daily life.

Retreat Dates

Sunday May 17th

Sunday June 14th

Sunday July 19th

Sunday August 16th

Sunday September 20th

A Typical Day

Each gathering weaves guided meditation, group inquiry, exploration of the themes and spiral of the Work That Reconnects, nature connection practices and movement. A typical day includes morning grounding and meditation, group exploration, time in nature, an afternoon meditation, further group work, movement or dance, and a closing circle. Together we reflect, share concerns and support one another in cultivating life sustaining responses within our own communities.

6-Month Blended Mind Heart Earth Course

Embark on a transformative journey with the 6-monthCourse, guided by  Paul McNamee. This course will involve one Sunday each month 10.30-4.30pm for 6 months we will meet at the beautiful Deep Heart retreat space on the banks of Lough Ree.

Course Structure:
The online part of the course follows a flexible dropping system, with a new module released every month. Each module includes guided meditation audios, comprehensive course lectures, and interactive webinars to enhance your learning experience.

We are living in a time of polycrisis, where global conflict appears constant and the health of the Earth, and with it our shared future, is under profound threat. Many of us feel the weight of this moment in our bodies and hearts and are left wondering how we are meant to respond, and from where such a response might come. Where do we find the strength to stay present rather than turning away, to remain open rather than becoming numb, and to act from care rather than fear? This course explores these questions in depth through the ancient practice of insight meditation, woven together with the Work That Reconnects and its Spiral of practices as a living framework for meeting our times. The Spiral guides us through gratitude, honouring our pain for the world, seeing with new eyes, and going forth into life-sustaining action. It offers a grounded and compassionate map for navigating uncertainty, grief and change while staying connected to what matters most. The course is an invitation to resource ourselves inwardly while forming a supportive community of practice. It is not about forcing solutions or prescribing particular actions, but about recognising the inherent potential that becomes available when we begin to look beyond the separate self and into our deeper belonging with life. At its heart, meditation is a practice of seeing clearly and of loosening the limiting self-views that emphasise individuality, isolation and disconnection. These habitual ways of seeing ourselves are at the root of both the ecological crisis and the mental health crisis. When we begin to question them, new possibilities for resilience, compassion and creativity can emerge. This is a deep journey of connection, with ourselves, with one another, and with the Earth which is both our home and our body. Together we explore how to meet grief, fear and uncertainty with awareness and care, and how to access inner resources that allow us to stay engaged without becoming overwhelmed. How are we going to respond to the world as it is now. What inner resources can we access. How can we support one another. What does a wholesome life and a wholesome community look like in these times. These questions have never been more relevant, and this course offers a shared space in which to live them, explore them and practise them together.
